Belle's Room and etc.

We finished Belle's room!!

I picked up some different sized frames at tj maxx and thrift shops and painted them all a different color. I knew I wanted to do a collage of some sort with something meaningful in it.

This is what I came up with...

I put a cute, girly print fabric in them all...I added the giraffe that my mom gave her and fell in love with how it came out. I love that it is simple because I love changing things constantly and I intend to add more to it in the future.

She loves touching them all after we change her diaper/clothes

The purple one above I just laid a rose ribbon over the fabric and left the glass out for a 3d effect.

Isn't the print sweet??

I had all of my girlfriends draw something on a piece of fabric for a quilt I had intended making for Belle but never got around to it so I took one of the pictures, cut it out and put it over the fabric. I love how personal it is to us!!

I got this cute little cradle for belle from a girl at work, it was her daughters when she was Annabelle's age. She loves putting her dolls and stuffed animals in and rocking it. I can't wait for the day she tries to put the dog in. haha

The ceramic block was mine, it came with live flowers when I was born. My mom gave it to me to put in Belles room and it goes perfectly with the cross we were given by one of my cousins.

This sweet wicker chair was given to us by Adam's aunt and she loves sitting in it and rocking. She actually has 3 rocking chairs and is obsessed with rocking...every time she is in a chair that doesn't rock she tries to rock it and consequently falls out of it.

She loves her room, but we dont spend too much time in it since the weather is so nice out now.

Outside and in water are her favorite places to be!

In her outside chair, trying to make it rock.

Swimming with mama!

She loved filling her kiddie pool in the backyard on a hottttt day!

Having lunch in the backyard with mama and Moe Bear...

LOVES her sandbox and slide at grandma and grandpa's house!

She also loves to sit in the car while it is parked in the driveway and just hangout like a big girl in the passenger seat :)

A look inside...

So....here it is.

Of course we aren't finished yet...still lots of decorating to go but I would love to share what its looking like so far :):):):)

Annabelle's room was given a beautiful chair rail and light purple paint to the bottom half while everything else was painted white. I was given the wall quote by my cousin it reads..."in her small oasis she drifted from dream to dream"

Her room is large, and plain for now. Still have yet to figure out what I will be putting on the walls other then her letters I painted before she was born.

We just rearranged her room a little...now we are on the search for a great rug to put down to make it a little more cozy.

Now on to the kitchen :) my favorite room!

well hello you sexy little backsplash, you!
View from the sink of the living and dining area
I just love it all!!!

and now the living room

got this awesome lamp while antiquing with some of Adam's family. I love it!!!
and this little gem I found on the side of the road. Just needed to be restained (thank you Kathy!) and wiped down. It is one of my favorite things in the house :)

le entry way!

We put a large mirror and narrow table to throw keys and whatever on...it's basically just a junk mail  collector.
Once the frame of the glass wall was painted white I kind of fell in love with the glass wall. It creates a great division for the hall space and I love its retro feel. We have decided to keep it for a while.

And the bathroom....

Remember everything was PINK

 Shower area/my jewelry display area.
Looking in from our bedroom.

My dressing area
Our bedroom is coming along the slowest (besides the guest room)
Eventually we will get to it, I hope!

For now...the outside is our next concern since the weather is finally getting nice. Adam's Dad surprised me and painted all of the rod iron that used to be turquoise, Black!! And Adam ordered and attached some beautiful black shutters.
yay!

everything they tore out of the front yard...
this one weighed like 200 lbs!!
1
pretty plant that bloomed while I was away in TX

These are the only photos I have of the new black shutters...oops haha
Isn't she cute though!

Our home is ever changing and I can't describe how exciting it all is to me!!!  :)
