A look inside...

So....here it is.

Of course we aren't finished yet...still lots of decorating to go but I would love to share what its looking like so far :):):):)

Annabelle's room was given a beautiful chair rail and light purple paint to the bottom half while everything else was painted white. I was given the wall quote by my cousin it reads..."in her small oasis she drifted from dream to dream"

Her room is large, and plain for now. Still have yet to figure out what I will be putting on the walls other then her letters I painted before she was born.

We just rearranged her room a little...now we are on the search for a great rug to put down to make it a little more cozy.

Now on to the kitchen :) my favorite room!

well hello you sexy little backsplash, you!
View from the sink of the living and dining area
I just love it all!!!

and now the living room

got this awesome lamp while antiquing with some of Adam's family. I love it!!!
and this little gem I found on the side of the road. Just needed to be restained (thank you Kathy!) and wiped down. It is one of my favorite things in the house :)

le entry way!

We put a large mirror and narrow table to throw keys and whatever on...it's basically just a junk mail  collector.
Once the frame of the glass wall was painted white I kind of fell in love with the glass wall. It creates a great division for the hall space and I love its retro feel. We have decided to keep it for a while.

And the bathroom....

Remember everything was PINK

My dressing area
Our bedroom is coming along the slowest (besides the guest room)
Eventually we will get to it, I hope!

For now...the outside is our next concern since the weather is finally getting nice. Adam's Dad surprised me and painted all of the rod iron that used to be turquoise, Black!! And Adam ordered and attached some beautiful black shutters.
yay!

everything they tore out of the front yard...
this one weighed like 200 lbs!!
1
pretty plant that bloomed while I was away in TX

These are the only photos I have of the new black shutters...oops haha
Isn't she cute though!

Our home is ever changing and I can't describe how exciting it all is to me!!!  :)

well hello strangers...

I'M BAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

And with sooooo much to catch up on. Well first things first, we might as well enroll this little lady into college...

She is sooooo grown up!!!! And loves loves loves playing in water, whether it be a sprinkler, a pool, or the sink! haha

We recently had a play date with our new friends Brooke (the nanny), Parker (Annabelle's boyfriend) and his younger sister, Cameron.

We went to the Buffalo Zoo and it was lots of fun...but boy were we a bit inexperienced at the whole zoo-ing thing. We planned to meet another friend there, Allie (another nanny) with her two kiddos and a couple (who's names have slipped my mind because I am a jerk and never remember anyones names...whoops). We planned to meet at 10:30 and then do some zooing and have lunch at noon and then do some more zooing.

Well then this happened....

the older kids wanted to walk themselves...which lets face it, its like trying to watch ice melt...its happening but not as quickly as you'd like it to.

And Cam, oh sweet baby Cam, wanted nothing else but to be held. So Brooke looked like this most of the day....hahahahahaha

Then we had lunch (after seeing only like 4 or 5 animals)

And once Allie got there it was almost 1 o'clock and Belle was out of her mind hyped up off her lunch and I was exhausted.

Chasing after seagulls calling them ducks..haha

We checked out the gorillas and then peaced out before nap time.

It was the quickest zoo trip with the least amount of animals seen, EVER. But Annabelle had the time of her life and now knows so many new animals...

If you ask her what the elephant does she will do a monkey sound first then she will use her arm like an elephant trunk and make a blowing sound. It is hilariously sweet and so smart of her!

I can't wait to take her again....but it will be much better planned next time on our part! :)
