one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, FLOOR!

No we haven't been drinking tequila, but we have been working on the floors! haha

All carpet is outta the house and the kitchen is D.O.N.E!!!
Did you read that...IT'S DONE!!! WOOOOOOO-HOOOOO!

WOO FREAKIN HOO!

and it looks beautiful. so beautiful!

Adam created the light fixtures with inspiration from one of our favorite bars...The Esquire, in San Antonio.
Their hallway was my inspiration for the colors in the living/dining room and kitchen, and the wall paper that they have along the long wall behind the bar was where we came up with our rug inspiration. So nonetheless they helped A LOT!

So before we left for the wedding the kitchen just had a few little things that needed to be done, light fixtures over the island, the faucet, handles on the cabinets and some last minute plumbing. And now here it is kids,

Before the handles, faucet and lights over the island

and after!

handles, check. faucet, check! and lights CHECK CHECK!!
(pics taken at two different times of day just to give a couple different views)
Started unpacking the kitchen today too. It is becoming so real!

We are almost official married grownup parents! ALMOST!
Probably by the end of the week ;)

Now for the floors that were hiding under that horrific carpet!

BEFORE:

and without!!!!

 and somemore unpacking

Annabelle's room with carpet...

 and without the carpet!
(her first time in her room!! She kept stomping her feet on the wood, it was darling!!)

Isn't it all coming along beautifully!??!!! Oh gosh it is soooo exciting! I can't wait to be living in it!!

Ok stay tuned for more blogging about the wedding, Annabelle and more on the house. We are couch, rug and decor shopping animals right now!!!

bwahahahaha!!

If you have any suggestions on where we can find affordable, contemporary/modern style rugs throw a dog a bone over here!!

Love to you all :):):):)
